remount inside door panel on kenmore 665 dishwasher
I took the door panel off to repair it. Now I'm having trouble getting it back on. The detergent dispenser mechanism isn't going into place. The attachment from the dial (follower cam) isn't going into the slot (actuator assembly). Do I need to disassemble the door or control cover in order to put this back together?

I have the Sears parts manual with the diagram. The only problem is that the diagram doesn't say how to get the assembly together. When I put the panel on the soap dispenser parts don't line up.

This is a difficult dispenser to put together. The draw bar fits over the cam so it moves up and down as the timer goes around. I found no video to help but check out the images below and see if it helps you resolve this problem. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
